Registration information on each skills competition will be mailed to your high school contact person. For further information, please call the chairperson designated for the competition or one of the general coordinators.On Skills Day
Registered participants need to arrive on time to assure they are able to participate in the event. Contest times and locations are in the book. There is a map on the inside front cover.
Clackamas Community College is again pleased to provide tuition waivers for the top three winners of the competition who are Clackamas County residents. The following guidelines apply:
1. The top three winners of each individual/team skills contest will receive a partial CCC tuition waiver for each contest won. (1st place 12 credits, 2nd place 8 credits, 3rd place 4 credits.)
2. The student may utilize the scholarship during any term from the time it is awarded through the year following his/her high school graduation.
3. A statement of approval from the appropriate school district must accompany a student's request to use the skills contest tuition waiver if the student has not graduated from high school.
Please Note: Not all competitions qualify for tuition waivers. Each contest page specifies what type of awards will be given.
Clackamas Regional Skills Competition top three winners will be contacted by the Clackamas Community College Financial Aid Office concerning the tuition waiver. If winners have additional questions, they may contact the Student Financial Services Office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 503-594-3421.
School awards will be sent to each high school. An awards recognition ceremony is planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers and their guests on the evening of Invitations with more details will be sent to award winners.
