Milwaukie Convalescent and Residential Center Adopt a grandparent, celebrate a birthday, decorate a bulletin board, give manicures, ect... anything you're talented in, they can use it. Contact NHS President Laurie Ellis for information. SOLV is an Oregon organization that works to better the enivorment and community with activities such as cleaning up the beach or planting trees. Doernbecher Children's Hospital Responsible, mature teenagers (16 years of age minimum) with flexible schedule needed. Various jobs include working in the gift shop to working with the musical therapy program to holding and cradeling preemies. Positions are limited. More information and applications are available at Doernbecher Online. Come to the library every Tuesday and Thrusday after school to help Milwaukie High School students with their homework from 3:30 to 5:00. Activity busses are provided for transportation. Positions are not limited - everyone is welcome. |
