Recommendations:

•  Stay on the easy slopes until you are ready. If you are not ready the more difficult runs will not be more fun.

•  If you find yourself lying in the middle of a run you have two options. You can either move quickly to the side or be pummeled by someone.

•  If you feel that you are ready for jumps and rails, but are new to them I would recommend wearing a helmet. Many jumps are made of ice and most rails are made of metal. Both materials are much harder than snow.

•  Keep your gloves on at all times. When you take your hand out and they get cold it is very difficult to get them warm again.

•  If you plan on being at the resort for a while pack a lunch because the food there is very expensive.
