About Us

Habitat for Humanity

Since 1976 Habitat for Humanity has had the outstanding goal of eliminating substandardized housing from the world, and we here at the Milwaukie High School chaper agree that they have done an amazing job working towards that goal. Already have completed over 175,000 houses around the world. We applaud their efforts and all the volunteers who have made it possible for families to improve the conditions of their lives. The houses build through Habitat for Humanity are all dedicated to the dreams of Dr. Martin Luther King. Habitat for Humanity states "We must work passionately and determinedly to bridge the racial divide and the socio-economic gap that is prevalent in our world."

The Milwaukie High School Chapter of Habitat for Humanity

Ever since the creation in the 2003-2004 school year by alumnis Kelsey Westling, the Milwaukie High School chapter of Habitat for Humanity has been rapidly growing. In the 2004-2005 school year, senior Patty Caballero took on Habitat for Humanity for her SSE Project, with the help from advisor Jennifer Fullilove, Honorary Member Jeff Linman, and the continuing support of Jennifer Twyman and Danielle Verbrigghe. Along with the many members, they make it possible for the Milwaukie High School chapter to continue.
